Art in the Park 2016 was juried by three significant members of the arts community, including: Chai Duncan Chai Duncan is an artist, curator and art educator and living in Port Hope Ontario. He received a BFA (honours) from the University of Victoria and an MFA from the University of Saskatchewan. He has exhibited his work across Canada and in the U.S. He has also taught in post secondary institutions in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. and has worked in public art galleries and artist run centres in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan and is currently the curator at The Latcham Gallery In Stouffville ON. Samantha Rodin Samantha Rodin is the Executive Director of the York Region Arts Council (YRAC), an organization she has been with for over five years. During her time at the arts council, Samantha has developed several new programs and resources for artists and cultural organizers living and working in York Region and surrounding areas. She is passionate about helping creative entrepreneurs grow their practices into sustainable businesses and building vibrant, creative, accessible and connected communities. Samantha is also an independent curator, editor and visual artist working at the intersection of painting, photography, sculpture and installation. Education and professional development include a BFA in Studio Art from York University, joint certificate with the York Entrepreneurship Development Institute and Schulich Executive Education Centre and a residency at the Toronto School of Art’s former Independent Studio Program. Suzanne Smoke Suzanne Smoke is the Culinary Director for the York Region Festival Alliance and a Cultural Coordinator (Native Liaison) Board Member for the York Regional Arts Council. She is also a consultant, curator and researcher for the All Nations Veterans Council and was the Aboriginal Cultural Coordinator for the Biindigen Gallery. Suzanne is the Co-Owner of Sacred Spirit Dances and Fashion Designer for Haute Couture Native Designs.

Art in the Park 2015 was juried by three significant members of the arts community, including:
Ron Baird, RCA., OCAD: The founding director of Stouffville's Latcham Gallery, Ron has been commissioned to create large-scale, site-specific sculpture installations across Canada and abroad. Many of them move in the wind, are light responsive or make sounds. He has been the recipient of many awards, including Allied Arts Awards from both the Royal Architectural Society of Canada and the Ontario Society of Architects.
Nancy Bodi: Currently the Director of York Region Festival Alliance, Nancy has also helped to found, develop and grow the York Region Arts Council, where she is Executive Director. Its mandate is to foster growth of the arts and cultural sector and local cultural tourism in York Region. Through YRAC, she produces educational events and the annual Arts Exposed Conference.
Anik Glaude: Anik has been the Curator at the Varley Art Gallery since December 2010. Before joining the Varley, she worked as Interim Curator of the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art at the Ottawa Art Gallery. She holds an MA in Art Museum and Gallery Studies from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.
