Art in the Park will be juried by three significant members of the arts community: Artists will be judged on the body of their exhibited work. Awards will be presented at 3pm at the Pavillion. Fiona Evans originally worked as a graphic designer, then began to concentrate on painting and went back to school at OCAD U. She enjoys painting figures, landscapes, and abstracts in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic and watercolour. Since 1999, Fiona has participated in many juried shows, and has taught classes in various art media and calligraphy. Recently her focus has been experimentation with materials, especially dyes on silk, to explore movement in paintings. Tracey Wright is the owner of Wright House Photography, a photography studio right here in Stouffville. The studio is nestled on a two-acre property, which is Tracey’s original family settlement. Tracey’s business and art has evolved since childhood, from collecting Kool-aid packages to send away for her first camera, to a darkroom in her basement, to a full-time studio. Wright House Photography offers a comfortable atmosphere for indoor and outdoor photoshoots. Tracey shoots weddings, engagements, family, pets, portraits, boudoir and more. Vicky Talwar is a Canadian-born Visual Fine Artist. With a lifelong passion for painting, Vicky takes inspiration from her south-Asian heritage and the tranquility of the natural world. She has exhibited in Canada, USA, India and United Kingdom, with recent exhibitions at Gallery Du 808 in Bristol, United Kingdom, The Elaine Fleck Gallery in Toronto, Linus Gallery, Las Laguna Gallery and REN Gallery in Los Angeles, California. Vicky holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts (BFA) from Ontario College of Art and Design and a Bachelors in Education (BEd) from York University, Toronto Canada. Vicky is currently an elementary art teacher for the York Region District School Board.
